What are you even talking about? Message boards were a crucial ground for underground rap. If people here didn't know Murs, who would? He was signed to fucking Def Jux and made at least one album with Slug and one with 9th Wonder. The Grouch and Scarub and Eligh and Sunspot Jonz were all much less successful long term, but I still remember them.
