they're out there, alot of forums do em now. i have em bookmarked somewhere i can drop links later

but 90 percent of them are sample based. like they post a sample and everyone uses it and the best beat wins. and by best beat i mean not the best beat musically as much as just who can mutilate the sample the most but still be coherent enough to sound good lol.

i don't think beattips is active anymore they had the monthly enter whatever beat you want thing that was the best

also there are always usually some type of remix competitions which are basically beat contests, artists will post through sites i don't remember and drop stems and acapellas. last i seen in an email was awhile ago think it was a prodigy record, there was an illmind one etc

I tried getting one a these started ouple months ago i can have a beat in a week if yall down ill battle either of u instrumental beat only tho... ney vocals unless they sampled... but nuttin original... mic booth said he ran an audio tournament when i posted that shot he didnt think it could qork but im down for like a battle jus dont hink theres enough people ripping or voting... site seems like its platued not sure.... cant even get no heat in ha ba these days.... not enough chill rappers and shit out there really.... i think id u started a beat contest it would bring a lotta heat to this board... hopefully shit..
