he has a few years in muay thai, he said he didn't stick with it long enough to get any belts, but atleast he's honest about it, he's been training with the best for 2 years now, it's been something he has been wanting to do for a long time, it's a damn shame he waited so long.

If he survives all 3 rds he deserves props, but i honestly dont see it happening.

I like him, I think he's an extremely driven person...he probably won't win his first fight...but he's the kind of guy that if he sticks at it, he'll probably get good.

the thing is who does he fight though

this guy is basically the least experienced guy they can feasibly put into the ufc. the mickey kid. and he's lightyears ahead of him. when cm punk loses, who does he fight next? anyone on the ufc roster can body him. he's just too far behind and too old now. i mean fighting is different as long as he can keep from getting injured it ain't like a sport where you need to run so you can fight into your forties with success.

but keep in mind those dudes were fighting their entire lives before they turned 40 lol, so they have that wily veteran factor where they've seen everything before

its gonna make money for the ufc so from a promotion standpoint they've done their job just making it happen. but i don't see him gaining any traction at all in any professional form of fighting let alone the ufc

even clown show characters like kimbo at least had some type of fighting experience, and could throw punches and duck and roll with em. cm isn't a wrestler to my knowledge. he's basically been training for a year. trying to learn jiu jitsu/wrestling/all types of striking.
