Ok so I’ll try to make a system where there is a defending Netcees champion. There will different sub champions though, so to speak. For example,
Let's say dead man is chosen a the reigning “Best Lyricist”.
UnBorn Buddha can still be the Netcees champ for the season.
There could be best rhymer, best artistic imagery, etc. But the one who wins the most awards becomes the reigning champ. Their could be sleeper rankings, or Rookie of the year, etc.

Now how do we rank the best lyricists and rhymers etc?
Well there are a lot of them so for this thing to work it will have to be a bit random at the start.
The best will work their way up though. However, how will the votes be collected? How can this process be made as objective as possible?

Solution: Create candidate threads. On each candidate thread people will post the candidates best works for that season. Each work could have its own thread maybe. Each good work will receive points for creativity, rhyme scheme, vivid imagery, and stuff like that. The collective points that the candidate receives contributes to their ranking.

Edit: I'll Comb through the archives and try to come up with a preview list. Major and Minor League. Then Best individual category lists. I'm willing to put in the work.

Alright sounds good. Send a revised Mission Statement to the administration board by Tuesday and we'll put this into action
