The colony of Meerkats gathered all resembled Easter Island statues,
each and everyone feeling regret like drunken tramp stamp tatooes.
behind their furry faces in secret like Snarf tryna touch his own wang,
These meerkats were anthropomorphic VISITORS outside of the big bang.
They had spent so many years as bacteria, psuedopods, and fauna/flora,
that once they observed those lessons, they yearned for the portal's aura.
But still it was not time, the VISITORS needed further case notes and data,
so they had to remain as "WHEEL SPOKES" stuck as loads of matter.
Life was good, the portal forgotten, season upon season, season upon season
The VISITORS grew comfy,while never even conceiving a reason for leaving.

in time the humans came on to the scene and the VISITORS upped their game,
They changed forms to humans and other furry critters in the hopes to feel the same.
It was a fruitless pursuit however, as the humans had ego, too much to contain,
and the VISITORS debated leaving, or burning this earth with fiery rain.
At the last convocation it was decided that the VISITORS would leave,
but a few had grown attached and this thought made them grieve!
So the COUNCIL banished this band to a small desert wasteland,
and imprisoned them in small furry bodies for all their day's span.

The portal opened and basked the new Meerkats in it's glorious light....
They watched as their brethren ascended into their Heavenly flight.
The Portal closed and the woes began to pang.....this was BAD NEWS....
