I remember when the 8 Mile trailer came out, but Lose Yourself wasn't on the radio or anything yet, and people were like "OMG what's that back to reality song from the trailer?" When I tried to download it, for several months the only thing on Napster or Limewire was a loop of that one 10 second clip from the preview for like 3 minutes.

Limewire got me so much music back in the day its ridiculous

As far as I remember, Winamp was just used to play music.

I don't remember what order I used them in, but I remember these programs..

WinMX, KaZaA, Limewire, BearShare

I think they were all the same, through the "gnutella" network if I remember right or sum'n.. i dunno, but then I moved onto hosting sites.. ie, Rapidshare, Megaupload, Zippyshare, etc.

That's what I used for most albums / songs, I still use torrents for Blurays though.
