Been reading some stuff here and some of it is really spectacular. Anyone got links to specific epic battles/competitions/league raps that I should especially check out? The AOWL looks bad ass, so far -- haven't checked all the sections out yet though. So far, I'm a lil intimidated by the skill levels of some of these writers. My shit doesn't come close to some of em. Good shit to study up on tho, yo.

I'll elaborate a lil bit & then u can imagine other meanings if u want. I might write something that goes off on it.

Floor lined. Its like flat lined, referring to when a track is turned up so loud that its always peaking at max volume... sounds like shit but its in your face. Or, it could be in reference to floor being silence, so opposite of flat lined. Either way, there is no dynamic range.

Floor lined is like when you get smashed to the floor from doing too many lines of drugs or getting too drunk. You've either blacked out, passed out, or lost control of your body and can not physically stand up.

Its like when you get smashed in a rap battle, when an emcee spits lines that r so dope that you get crushed to the floor and can't get up.

Its like the opposite of havin your head in the clouds. Your ego and mind is very well-grounded because you're floor lined. You're solid. You're not high as a kite, you're sober and livin' in the "real world"; you're close to Earth.

Floor lined is also referring to how sound waves drop to the ground. Your sound is going down.

It is also suggesting bass as the lowest frequencies that we hear... so the bass of the sound drops you to the floor.

I had some other ideas but can't remember them right now.
