They sound black. I think I counted 9 uses of the n word in the first verse, as well as gun talk and a malt liquor reference.

Second verse is better, but I've already made my decision.

Somewhere along the way I stopped liking rap music, and transitioned to judging Hip Hop strictly on the subject matter and lyrical ability. Showmanship matters much less to me than it seems to matter to most.

I admit I do tend to enjoy white rappers much more frequently than black ones. Something about black rappers feels exclusive, like it isn't made for me. That isn't necessarily a requirement for me to enjoy it, it's just a style thing. If I'm driving around in my car with the windows down listening to dudes talk about malt liquor, guns and using the word nigger over and over again then I feel a bit silly.

2. it's fine to like white rappers more than black rappers. i probably shouldn't have pigeon holed you for it. that's my bad.

3. it doesn't have to be made "for you" to enjoy it though. eminem doesn't make his music for me either but I fuck with his older shit. hell, I listen to tracks about niggas driving maseratis in my 07 civic. i don't give a fuck. music is music. there's no need to feel like you can't like it because it's "too black". in high school I had white hippie friends that fucked with dead prez heavy. you can allow yourself to like black music without feeling self conscious.

white people have this misconception that all people of color view them as an enemy. you're only viewed that way if you behave like one. a perfect example would be going to a black church. I promise you if you go with the flow they'll accept you 100%.

if you rolling in your car with some music like this turned up, and you're just enjoying it because that's your shit, nobody would care tbh. if you're like bumping it one minute and you feel the need to turn it down n roll the windows up when you see a black dude at the stop light... well yeah. that's corny as fuck and you should prob not listen to rap anymore.

i listened to this through one time. I liked it a lot. overall I kinda feel like D.R.U.G.S was better, but that tape was very special IMO so i'm not holding it against them.

I only like two white rappers...Em, imo is still fucking mind blowing with lyricism, I think he outspits anyone tbh, but music wise he is lacking, and he has lost the shock factor which got him very far. His choice of beats is poor, and he shouts a lot.

I also like Yelawolf, which may be an unpopular opinion, but he puts real thought in to his words, I like his music...he isn't incredible when it comes to rhymes and technical ability...but he makes good music imo.
