D'Angelo and The Weeknd traded off R&B awards both winning two (one each for song, one each for album [R&b album/urban contemporary album])

more as they come. I'd love to see Kendrick win album of the year. We'll see. Only two rap records have ever done it before. Speakerboxx/Love Below and Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

October 2014 through September 2015 releases qualify for the 2016 Grammys. It's a stupid cycle and they really should do it by calendar year, but I'm sure it's been too long to change it now.
