How does it feel to grow up with a silver spoon in your mouth?

I'm not being caustic I'm just curious. How does it feel to have your ego come mainly from the freedom your parents provided you, meaning you didn't work for it at all...I know in many cases this creates an (lifelong) ego that is bratty, childish and entitled. I went to prep school for a bit and I knew some really dumb kids of really smart hard-working millionaires who are no doubt still dumb yet working at hedge funds making millions. What is your take on this? I know Hush has free rent with his mom so he qualifies. Also Diode and Knucklehead qualify to respond. Let's not be childish with the win/lose, name-calling mentality you 3 (may) share and try to create some synergy so we can work this problem out...

My silver spoon had a rubber tip when I was a baby. My mom didn't want to hurt my tiny mouth.

This is where I grew up - @kannon can validate:

That's my car after it got stolen from in front of my house. That was one of two that happened to in the span of two years.

You're an idiot.

Just shut up and stop ranting on about your insecurities and how you hate your life bub

I was born poor, and I mean properly poor, and I still am, just not to the same extent we were as children.

I won't die poor tho, but money is not everything to me, I just want to live a good life.

Couldn't tell u

Nice I'd imagine?

Life is different for everyone. Nobody is exempt from terrible life events.

Money doesn't buy happiness though

You can still get shit on from the higher powers even if you're financially set since birth

Not having to worry about bills was nice. My lifes goal is to have that feeling back. You know, without being homeless of course.

Hush 01-13-2016 04:51 PM

Wonder how it was growing up poor and azn

@NYCSPITZ

I guess diode was poor in the beginning but I was right about Hush and knuckle. It's nothing against them really I just developed a distaste for hierarchy in any form and they encapsulate it to the same absurd degree except it's on a forum. Thanks for the cunning ontological insights though Z bro...

More to your question:
your hedge fun comment was interesting to me...
made me think of how culture has a lot to do with people's life path... Could a very intelligent person who was raised dirt poor eventually end up maknig millions at a hedge fund? Sure, but far less likely than a silver-spoon kid who's parents are in that line of work and have connections.

I'd like to think that hedge funds and other white collar jobz are somewhat merit-based... so if they were reeeeeallly stupid they'd be out of a job, regardless of their parents or connections. But they could just be "kinda dumb" and have people skills, or instincts about the market.

I'donno... I don't have an answer to your question on a macro level.

p.s. the user here who sucks dicks for 13.50 an hour makes more money than me.
I'm poor. no silver sp00n here. But parents had/have good character,&values. Important.

Yeah I agree values are more important. I bolded the part that reminds me of diode, except the "people skills" would only extend to individuals as myopic and vapid as he is...

To be honest no beef diode you have a healthy ego congrats. It's just lame to me that you proliferate this middle school name calling ethos especially when you own the site, are in your 30s and a bunch of young people post here. Counter productive and lol worthy considering the moral high ground you pull out sometimes (omg paris nooo)...then turn around calling people faggot and shit. Not nice man, not nice...paradox is the word that comes to mind. Since your morality and suave and looks and intellect and bank account and physical prowess and writing and cars and bed sheets are better than everyone else's jeez u might as well help others and work synergistically than react to people who belittle you. Indicative of insecurity which we all have but...it's ironic when u play the big bad boy card like u have no flaws...lame shit IMO. It's just opinions big bro. No need to get flustered. The above is merely my narrow opinion.

NYCSPITZ 01-14-2016 12:08 AM

Anyways, I think I may become a financial analyst soon. Wish me luck Pharoah...

you take this way too seriously.

it's a diversion and nothing more. some days my mood is vincent kennedy mchmahon, some days my mood is steve jobs, some days my mood is nick diaz, some days my mood is mother fucking teresa.

and i'm ok with that because this is an internet rap forum and none of it matters.
