You have a shot at playoffs depending on who signs up, you just need to win out to help your case. I highly doubt there will be more battles other then the payoff contestants, but if someone wanted to battle another I would happily give them a topic and thread as long as they vote

What's with the random Martian comment? I actually wrote a topical on it like a week ago on RB called Johansson's Forgotten Mission. Basically the story of if the resupply didnt work, and Johansson had to eat everyone. Good idea, way too rushed.

Any suggestions for next week topics theme?

I read (audiobooked) it. I'm not a "reader" though. Outside of some shit in school, it's the first book I ever read. Was solid. I have NO idea how it is gonna work as a movie when I watch it. One dude...fixing shit, growing plants, and watching 70s TV and listening to disco, how will that work? Anyways, will give it a watch when the stream comes out.

I've been brainstorming how to create a battle royal format Topical toruney but can't come out with a lay out. I created one for the battle guys and they'll use it eventually.


Only thing I can think of is have a 8 man tourney where everyone gets the same topic and each week a person is eliminated.

@Adonist, in the ISTL a few years ago Sign7 did a bonus round where all the participants did a battle royale. Each of the contestants would vote the other verses in order, and then you get points for the order from each guy. Person with the most points wins.

And I don't think it will be too memorable, don't have that much time this time around to compose one of true worth, but let's make it at least partly memorable by going 25 to 35. Pick your poison.

I love this idea too, maybe merge the 2 ideas together.
Have this whole thing idea then eliminate the bottom half and do it again with the top half to decide the winner
