Luke Cage's babymama. Therefore why wouldn't they make a LUKE CAGE series, rather than create one for his common-law wife?

They are making a Luke Cage show.

I'm loving everything they've got. Now a comic book guy but I love the entire franchise and how it all blends in together.

With this Netflix series, they've got Daredevil (amazing), Jessica Jones, Daredevil (pt. 2) and then Luke Cage. They'll all come together in like 2017 with The Defenders.

Agents of Shield (Loading this very second ironically) and Agent Carter are both fairly solid shows as well. Shield has tonnes of action which is basically what I look for in shit like that.

Then the movies, although with a lot of hit and misses, are generally all really well done. MCU is probably the most consistent of all television / cinema "companies" (or whatever we are using for this) of all time.
