Hi...

What's your take on what's going on in KIC 8462?...

Bye...

Dyson sphere ?

Ghost1 10-21-2015 02:21 PM

Dem vacuums 9verrated

Destroyer 10-21-2015 02:44 PM

keep in mind we're seeing 1500 years into the past there
so, whatever we are seeing is how it was 1500 years ago
if it was a dyson sphere, we'd know by now

Chyeahhh!!! 10-21-2015 03:18 PM

@Hush

impressive, it's hypothetical at least and haven't seen anyone talk about it here at all. This is my theory for the Annunaki and subatomic gold partical atmosphere. Where did you read on this?

Chyeahhh!!! 10-21-2015 03:18 PM

he speaks....

what Hush said

Chyeahhh!!! 10-21-2015 03:19 PM

that's the first thing I thought when this story first broke

Hush said the same thing I would have. What say yee?

Destroyer 10-21-2015 03:27 PM

read my comment and see

King Karaoke 10-21-2015 03:33 PM

Hi...

I was thinking the same thing...
Another suggestion is that the dimmering itself is being used to contact/signal us...
Just read that astronomers are about point a radio telescope in that direction faster than they anticipated...

Bye...

Destroyer 10-21-2015 03:36 PM

so, they started dimming it 1500 years ago to contact us now?

King Karaoke 10-21-2015 03:45 PM

Hi...

I'm not an astronomer, b...

Bye...

Destroyer 10-21-2015 03:50 PM

I'm just saying, when you take that part into consideration, it makes no sense
the same way we are seeing that part of the galaxy 1500 years in the past, when they look at us they see us 1500 years in the past. let's say they could see all the way to the surface of our planet with their technology... think about where we were 1500 years ago. would we be worth an alien race who was advanced enough to build a Dyson sphere contacting us?
hell no we wouldn't
we were primitive as fuck 1500 years ago
still are to a race that is that technologically advanced

King Karaoke 10-21-2015 04:02 PM

Hi...

Of course there's a high probability that will look as us like how we look at ants but at the same time who's to say there isn't a race that is as curious about us than we are about them...
We would do the same thing is we had the ability to...
Astronomers have been sending radio signals/waves into space for years hoping that one day something will pick it up...
They know that it won't happen for years and even centuries but they still sent those signals out there...

Bye...

Pretty sure the majority of earths inhabitants beleive in an imaginary guy in the sky.... we aint that different from 1500 years ago.

Oh and hi chyeeeh.... do you have aspergers syndrome? You give me that impression....

Saint 10-21-2015 04:18 PM

They've yet to focus the radio frequency telescopes to catch the hum if their advanced technology, if it is there.

I would assume they run silent or on a energy source/platform we can not yet Phathom

And no I don't think it's aliens

@Destroyer
Your assuming we looked in this exact position with the right technology prior to "now"

Destroyer 10-21-2015 05:42 PM

take Six trillion miles and multiply by 1500. that's how far away this thing is.
I'm not sure what you mean @Hush
