How do you like your RUGER .308?

I was looking in to a winchester but have been informed that "Savage" make some good .308 rifles.

My only concern is, they are inexpensive so are they really a quality rifle?

Or should I stick with the Winchester?

i like the ruger but pretty much all of the modern .308s are the same

synthetic stock, free floating barrel, etc

no. have friends who do, so no need. lot of money just to punch holes in paper.

Remington is another good make for 308
