Tuesday at 9 p.m. Pacific/West Coast or Tuesday 11:59 PM Eastern / 6:00 AM Wednesday Central European/London
There are NO extensions.

Verses MUST be a minimum 10 lines or a maximum of 48 lines (or 650 words).

Votes are due Friday at 4:00 p.m. Western / or Friday 7:00 PM Eastern / 1:00 AM Saturday Central European/London Failure to vote will result in automatic sign out for the next week.

yo im sorry about last week lost my connection and couldn't get online.... I just got my internet back so ill still be dropping this week but really apologetic that I couldn't do votes last week that was my fault I lost my service connection and didn't get it back until today

i started out planting a seed and hoping for the best
and when the sunset my soft head turns and heads west
it wasn't prepared fresh and picked at my flesh
cuz i wasn't prepared and failed the test
it was easier getting by in the night
like slaves trying to escape the whites
i didn't decide whether or not to interfere with life
but on the bright side i always searched for my tribe
within my community like it was part of the holy grail
so with watchful eyes i found avail as if i started to chase my own tail
but they couldn't take anything way from you and me
they say things are best left untouched until i found loyalty
form and beauty often brush to on side in those close to me
they told me i was a nut even when mighty hearts felt crushed
i would constantly rush to my purpose while riding the bus
but didn't find anything real about this interpretation
so like tax evasion the government enforced its regulations
which is why i should never return and why i marry next month
and im a happy groom that is concerned with facts like i found the truth
i haven't given up i know theres still some laws that i must abide to
