Honestly this verse was light from the bro Karoake. Seen him do way tougher before. Still hot tho, just compared to "him" its light Sonny got a style I like. First line the setup was tougher than the punch tho, the punch aint make sense cuz the word outdated thru the bar off for me. Little things like that. I've gotta be honest: this makes me not want to break down battles here. Sonny took this by such a land slide in my eyes and the fact it's looking the other way here makes me feel we all respect such different things I don't care to share my opinion.
Like, almost all of the verse wouldn't make a list of punches I'd come up with in 5 minutes of brain storming. Not meaning to be harsh, but Sonny's record keeps dermatologists employed? Sorry for spamming the thread, too, just...shit boggles my mind. Sonny 3-0 body bagged this. |

sonnydaze was more hit or miss to me. he definitely had the lotb with with the second graders and his closer was right on par with kk's. the difference is that he had a few bars that i just wasn't feeling at all. the tongue depressor shit was lame to me. the chief judge bar wasn't really worded hard. wrap your head around a gash in your skull? that is setup backwards to me. i think this is definitely one of the biggest examples of style differences on the sites determining votes. misses count a lot against you over here, and maybe that isn't the case on RMBVA. consistency is as important as having some dope bars, that's the whole point of having a battle that's 16 bars instead of 4. i can see the argument either way, but im gonna vote the way i feel, and i just don't think sonny brought enough bars here to win. karaoke had more quotes and few misses, tho i must respect sonny for the skill shown in the bars that hit. esp. that second grader shit that goes hard.
