im writing in my journal about my family
and the fact that they are living in such a loving community
theres nothing but a hurtle between me and my ancestry
my pops is over the bar and handles things carefully like money
its funny cuz my fathers story is deceiving at its first peek
its like thirsty alcoholics no serenity during my early teens
trying to reminisce about the people that care the most
we could have a ceremony the way my pops needs to give it a toast
so Im sending this out to the one who gave me my direction in life
just laying back thinking is it right this time or is it just a rhyme
