I always see current events on here but I feel like I haven't seen any/much mention of the fast food wage increase

I know it's not a US wide thing so I get some not caring/knowing but is it not going to happen in NYC or something?

Well in Washington McDonald's agreed to increase the minimum wage of their employees to $13.00 within the span of 5 years.

We agreed to 15 by 2021 lol

I heard some places was going up to like 15.00. That's crazy. Maybe they get the fucking order right this time.

I get $12.50 an hour as a county employee range officer, it'll really piss us off if fast food workers start getting paid more

I guess it's any place that serves fast food/take out/delivery will have to legally pay them 15/hr by 2021 but not right away

they're rolling out touch screen kiosk at LA mcdonalds as a test for NY to replace all cashiers as a response to it

these jobs should be foot in the door with a high turnover rate after a year, ability to move up in the ladder.etc

allthis shit gonna do is make it harder for teens to get in the job market, make moving anywhere in management/or other opportunities hard to do because less jobs. It'll kill the lower classes.
