I hate "this quote vs this quote" voting, tbh. Swerve was cool here, Ace with a 10 was a cool idea but could have hit harder, ace in the hole too I felt pretty much the same about - nice idea, no real sting to it. Heat in the hair was slightly amusing.

Ace had the evolution shit, Trig work was okay but still felt a bit flat, closer seemed alright but nothing special. Pretty boring generic fest with only the opener really hitting for me from Ace.

I guess I got to edge it him, though, here.

This was an interesting battle. Swerve had some cool concepts, but is probably shaking off rust because he had a few bars that were played or too simple to be effective. If he can keep up with the concepts and work on his wording, I think he could be competitive. i liked blackjack and shangtai towers but neither was fully quotable. the played ace in the hole bar also hurts your verse a little bit.

Ace had a dope opener. I thought he would win based on the strength of that, but the rest of the verse was disappointing. He also didn't really maximize the effectiveness of his concept in the opener because it wasn't set up at all. The rest of the verse seemed a little rushed. Didn't really have any stand out concepts so it wasn't hard hitting to me.

Not really sure what happened cause I saw some nice bars from Ace in the cypher, but i ended up with two almost quotes for Swerve and one for Ace. Ace's was lotb, but he didn't really have anything else. They were about even on misses with trig and mop the floor kinda bad, but not as bad as ace in the hole.

Close battle to me, I feel like you could easily argue for either side. Meh. I think I will go with Ace b/c I really like that evolution chart bar.

I gotta give this one to swerve for better concepts, better wording and an overall better verse IMO. It was close, ace had a decent verse but he had too many mediocre and generic bars and a couple misses.

bland battle... swerve had some generic shit bad wording with one decent jab, ace had a few misses that were better but he kept it too simplbe with his set ups. but enough to take this

these were the stand outs from your verse, I felt what followed kinda flucked it up
I laughed at the A/C line but I felt you could have used daily instead of lately...
that would have sounded better to me...decent verse though

these lines were pretty nice, I enjoy a verse that you have to break down
I really enjoyed that 'evolution' reference to be honest, that mop line was slick too
the trig line was pretty cool, some of the rest could have worked...
but I think you did work...

v/Ace, he delivered a harder impacting in my opinion, Swerve was cool too
but I feel like had he left out the ace in the hole & came with something different it would be evenly matched
other than that I got Ace winning this due to consistency

Seemed like yall just kind of key'd them verses up I liked the casino line with better wording it was a potential haymaker and the evolution chart bar was good couldve been set up better tho. one edged it here imo v/ACE
