Anybody watch 'Ballers'?
 

That shit came up on some 'suggested' post on Facebook..

I might peep it, but I kinda don't like watching shows that aren't a couple seasons in, especially if I end up liking the show then I'm just stuck waiting.

Is it good!?

I've seen the trailer for it on FB.. & it does looks somewhat interesting.

I'll have to hear some excellent things about it, & read some damn good reviews to consider giving it a look tho.

It overall isn't my type of series tbh, even tho I love sports.

I do admit it looks interesting tho. Just not quite my cup of tea.

it was kind of wack tbh

it will probably be good enough considering its hbo, it was only like 1 half hour episode to premier, probably just a half hour a week type thing like entourage

the rock is a financial manager for a sports agency, he's a retired defensive end.

the first episode centered around him and a couple friends, one of which plays in the nfl, is cut for getting into a fight at a strip club, and gets signed to the dolphins (barely). and the other is a retired offensive linemen who gets a job as a car salesmen

the rock basically has all the sports friendships but he's failing at his job because he can't jump from being a friend to actually managing his friends money

but the episode ended like he's gonna be getting it on track

so its basically a show about sports, seems like specifically football, players wasting there money, etc. the business of professional sports

first episodes had cameos with don shula, larry csonka, desean jackson, antonio brown and steven jackson

has like an entourage feel except in miami with black dudes instead of la with white dudes lol

Entourage is my shittt, I can watch that whenever. I dunno, Im'a peep this sometime this week if I get a chance, sounds dope, we'll see though.

yea it wasn't bad. was just short and like introducing shit. it should be good tho.

entourage is dope, i'm looking forward to the movie, i'm not sure if its out yet or not, know its this summer

^Yeah, the movie came out already. I want to say like 2-3 weeks now.

I haven't caught that either, this weekend sounds like a good time to do it. Nothing better than watching a movie without a crowded theater.

I'm tweaking, this show just came out on the 21st.

I read somewhere that they were working on Season 2, I figured Season 1 was already released. Ehh

waiting a week for a full hour show is alright, but waiting a week for a half hour is rough.

I ended up watching all 3 episodes recently.

I like the show. It's starting out kind of slow but, I can see it being really dope.

So far so good, some of these actors are kind of wack though.
