Naw nigga, it gets extra special wack. Trust me, I was a huge Dexter fan and I almost became Dexter myself, a Dexter that only hunts down and kills people that worked on making that show, especially the last season.

I stopped at exactly that point because everyone kept telling me the same thing.

I'm still upset that Doakes died too...I felt like that would have been good for the story line to keep him around
but his character was persistent and hard headed so of course he'd uncover everything quickly

I thought that was a twisted concept to throw in there...
the 5th season is eh 'cause I don't really like Julia Stiles too much
but the story arc was a decent execution for Dexter to deal with after the finale from Season 4

Dexter started showing cracks in the foundation when he was able to stray from the code and the writers didn't feel like it needed to be explained.

He killed a photographer that was the wrong person and he killed a dude in a bathroom after Rita died. Dexter is supposed to be a "neat monster" by his own description. Dude just abandoned his code whenever, plot holes be damned.

It was downhill from there... shitty writing, stupid fake props and just all of the characters began acting outside of their character for no reason.

They can eat a Golden Corral buffet of dicks for that shit.
