thinking about getting the note 4
 

im happy with my note 2.

i wanna make beatmaking vids tho, and just vids in general. and while i can do 720p on my note 2, and can find relatively cheap options for full 1080p

i kinda want 4k.

so i thought, well shit a new note 4 without a plan at its cheapest is like 700 new. so i was thinking maybe i should just get a camera and keep my note 2.

but googling 4k cameras i'm only seeing shit in the thousands

i almost signed up with sprint just to get that phone at like 4 in the morning sleep deprived and high out of my mind. luckily the bestbuy site was bugged and wouldnt let me go through with signing up with a contract. i was gonna pay 200 up front and like 85 a month just to have that phone lol

but now i'm thinking i might just buy one outright from my phone company thing now.

thats the only problem with my phone service, (ting). you have to have a clean sprint phone. i can find a bunch of cheap used note 4's on ebay but most have bad esn's and shit. and i don't wanna risk a few hundred for a used thing on ebay

someone talk me out of dropping 700 on this

and or if anyone knows cam's and knows of a cheap 4k option.

i don't need the official 4k. whatever it is. like 4000/2160

that note does 3800/2160 or some shit. which is still considered 4k i guess.

idk about 4k, but if it's THAT much cheaper, it's not worth it to get it just for the 4k. usually the pixels are interpolated and actually it's just 1080p or smth. at least REALLY read into it, becuz this sounds too good to be true, and there's tons of ways to cheat w/ things like resolution. (moreover, resolution isn't THAT important w/ cameras.)

man 4k is hardly supported on anything yet besides $500 video cards and $3000 tv's

1080p is more than enough, but in 5 years when i still got a note 4, that 4k it has might come in handy?

really the cam is all i care about. and the size. i can't go back to a little phone
