according to this study. I don't like the idea of trying to quantify cultural influence, the methodology is def flawed, and the conclusion was kinda obvious (an entire genre has more influence than a single band), BUT, thought this was interesting nonetheless.

but word. and yea i read it, its a cool article. it mainly makes sense when you think about all forms of entertainment. from background music to commercials and tv, to sporting events etc

and of course how it bled into the genre the beatles basically created, pop lol
