he didn't. our o-line was abysmal his last season, and we had no wideouts at all. so with no passing game we had to rely on the run, and with no line ray had no running lanes. also when it came to passing downs, they were able to key on rice out of the backfield because the only tight ends we had were BUMASS dallas clark like options, and wideouts like rookie marlon brown

this led to him having a bad season, also he was bulked up crazy

he slimmed down that offseason, all reports said he was looking great, than his wife got mouthy with him after he lost some money on blackjack and ruined his career.

THINK ABOUT THE FACT JUSTIN FORSETT LOOKED GOOD. if you can find his highlights look them up. he's running through giant holes, makes NO ONE miss, breaks NO tackles. he just ran threw holes and kept the ball covered up. if anything his biggest strength was vision and patience

two things ray rice has as well, and ray rice can actually make guys miss in the open field, and runs strong for his 5'7 frame.

he is literally untouched until he is tackled on every single run except the one against the saints where they're at there own 5, the safety had him after a 3 yard gain but poor tackling led to him going another 20 yards until the next safety touched him. so i guess he gets props for not letting an armtackle get him.

but word his biggest strengths are his vision and patience, sees blocks and follows them and is patient enough for them to set up.

but ray rice makes all those runs happen as well

he also makes guys miss in the open field extending runs, he also has the ability to make plays when their isnt anything available

i didnt see that from forsett.

ray rice wouldve had a career year last year. i like forsett don't get me wrong he's a RAVEN so ***AWWWWWWW, i just wish we had rice instead.

NO DOUBT. i liked pierce better than everybody. i feel he got a bad roll of the dice. the holes forsett was getting he wasn't. he also wasn't as patient tho. he's a one cut get it and go guy. but with that gay zone running scheme we employ now you kinda gotta chill and let it develop.
