the cycle of human life happens like this.

stage 1. tribal human life. humans live in huts, and caves and shit. whether nomadic or settled in a territoryish whatever. small groups blah blah blah hunter gatherers.

stage 2. agriculture. humans settle full time till the land and hunt the surroundings. they begin harnessing the natural resources. developing metallurgy and blah blah.

stage 3. technology. industry blooms, the industry combined with the agricultural surpluses lead to technological advancements. we live within stage 3 at present. we think we're in an advanced stage but we're not yet. we're still in the industrial inventive stage.

stage 4. simulation. technology reaches a point where those involved in it are so far from the natural world they are consumed. they live in virtual realities where they move in heaven like spaces. you basically don a headset and can move in place around a virtual world. like the occulus rift on steroids. with the treadmills and shit. but in the world is whatever you want. food. pleasure. ho's whatever. its all in there. you procreate within it. you can interact with others within it.

THE CATCH HOWEVER is it is still technology. somewhere there are impoverished dumb humans who have to mine the minerals and shit that go into making these technologies. they have to work on the upkeep. they produce the food that gets generated in the simulations and etc.

well it reaches a point where the divide between the haves and have nots is so large, that those who live outside the simulation get fed up, and kill all the geniuses inside the simulations.

so all the smart genes that invent everything and this perfect way of living where brain function and everythingggggggg is taken care of before its even thought about. the geniuses who figured that out. get killed by uprisings of the masses of slave laborers who keep the simulation going.

the problem is these people who survive are the ones who killed everyone who was in the simulation

and with each successive generation of slave dummys we lose more and more of what made us modern. the slave dummys war amongst themselves until there is very few of them left

those left live back in a tribal state. eating whatever they can and starting over from scratch.

i believe this has happened before and we are heading towards it again.

Thiz is not so far fetched. I dont know how much i believe the simulation aspect.. Allthough i do onow it exists, i just dont think we live in it, or can/could for lo g periods of time.
