what chyeaahh posted was a solar blast of energy from the sun tho. not big enough to do anything. it wouldnt have even knocked out the telegram systems in the 1800's. it is insignificant and means nothing. it will just make some cool lights in the north pole.

we are shielded from this natural occurance. i just realized i don't know how to spell occurance. but yea its like if i posted a picture of doppler radar like oh shit guys its gonna rain today. be ready!

gotta ask yourself what is in sun plasma though? I mean you just shrug it off as" eh, an energy blast from the sun, it's like breaking wind" when 8 minutes after the blast we received an off the charts proton and photon event. What do these types of events trigger and more importantly what do they mean for an electrical grid?
