Merc's right. In the winter it's a cool job but in the summer it's like 120 inside the shop. I know because I'm a welder and I hate the fucking heat. At least the money is awesome. Just don't have a heat stroke and you'll be fine.

My buddy (lol) does it and does decent for himself.

If I did it I imagine that I would write deep open mic lyrics on my welding helmet and shape it into MF Doom's mask. And I'd get dope scars and shit then I'd go to the bar by myself in overalls and drink Coors light from a can while only saying 5-8 words to Rick, the heavyset barkeep who always has a towel over his shoulder, while watching the Cubs lose another game. Then I'd go home and rep bane baby and bags for no reason then grow a beard and chop some lumber then sleep then do it all over again
