close, I thought the tinder line was lotb but E was overall better with fewer misses. both had kinda basic flips but E played it safe and just did nameflips on a dude I ain't seen before so they all kinda hit. Apeiro was cool but too many lines that didn't hit hurt him so E wins by a bit. Hope to see both dudes polish up wording casue they both had cool concepts

idk what 'act funk' is supposed to mean, but my problem with the flip is that it was cool in theory but you did the really basic simile - unless there's something going on there otherwise you just kinda said 'you'll be dead like recently dead person'

I actually googled it and I came up with it pronounced as "funk" but figured it was funky anyway lol. and the 'go head' was a nice touch tbh it was just that flip that made me a lil disappointed cause you set it up with wordplay but the punch was just that simile

Yeah well I guess I gotta go for E in this battle,
I didnt like it at all, neither apealed to me. But I think he had better punches.
Looking back on Sharps breakdown...

Yeah I guess I agree, thought the 'ape shit' line was ok.
Basically it comrs down to my opion of what battles should be, and that is
that obscure refences should not be used if possible, they should be more taylor made for the reader, having to google to understand a punch takes the moment away for me and a few of Apes lines were to 'google-intensive'.
So E gets it.

Battle was ok'ish. Nothing really stood out for me. A lot of good ideas but horribly executed or lacked any type of witty/creative twist.

E - We've discussed this previously. I like your style. I like how your just straight to the point but at the same time, a lot of your bars come off really basic. And the over usage of simile's for me isn't effective. If you were to think out the majority of your concepts and add some creative witty concepts and or executions, you'd be straight, dawgz.

Ape - I like your structure format a lot better. You seem to have the fundamentals of text battling down, however your bars lacked substance here. For an example your opener was an ok concept that could have landed effectively if it was executed in a more harsher manner. That 3 line bar was stretched and threw me of completely as I lost the flow, tbh. If you are going to utilize long bar format, use rhyme schemes with inner slant rhymes or some type of ABBA or ABAB rhyme pattern, dig? But all in all, I think I've only seen one other verse from you and it was better so not really sure if you applied yourself here but as I stated, you have the fundamentals down. Just focus on executing your concepts more harsher and you'll be straight man.

I think E took this battle barely. His punches were just a little more effective and wording was a lot cleaner/less choppy. Keep writing guys.
