but i'll watch and enjoy both

The funny thing about Gotham is that I'm not sure which they are really going for, it's abstract and kinda tries to focus on non-superhero type themes but at the same time it is dumber than most kid's cartoons. It feels like Smallville a lot too.

Penguin is horribly goofy, he looks like he is obsessed with emo bands... Tween Catwoman is laughingly bad and Home alone Bruce Wayne is an afterthought thus far. Batista from Dexter is a crime boss....dead.

There's a chick named FISH in this too.

lol, i hear you to some extent for sure --- but the show won me over when that one killer started hooking dudes up to weather balloons and bodies started dropping from the stratosphere
