Omg, mindblown at what? It depends solely on the nature of Pinocchios nose. Most probably the nose only reacts to what Pinocchio knows and doesn't know, if not Pinocchio would know everything in existence and be an excellent fortune-teller. He could just say ''Osama Bin Laden is alive in 20 years!'' in 1990 and the nose would grow. It's stupid, you know, so let's get rid of that thought, IT DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY.
However, what we DO know is that Pinocchios nose grows when he knows he's lying. This is shown extremely well when he lied to get his nose to grow in order to open up some door or whatever in the movie. So when he says ''my nose will grow now'' he knows that he's lying if it doesn't, so it grows. Think about that for a second along with my Osama Bin Laden-theory. The nose doesn't care about the fucking future, it cares about here and now. THE NOSE GROWS YOU STUPID FUCK! NO MINDBLOWING HERE. MOVE ALONG!
Edit: I was maybe a tad bit aggressive in my post and for that I apologize. You are not a stupid fuck and I might as well be wrong. Feel free to add to my thoughts.
