NBL SEASON VIII SIGNUPS - CLOSED, USE THE SIGN IN/OUT THREAD IN THE NBL FORUM
 

to be run by a mixture of myself, allen, broke, MW, knuck and other around/active mods/admins

-to begin as soon as alias round 2 is done with votes (any battles that aren't up tomorrow night are noshows)

-will be on a weekly schedule of battles going up sunday and being due thursday so fucking vote friday-sunday

-voting will be checked and failing to vote during more than one week will result in a temporary ban from the league. only way back in is through voting (missing a week can be made up, specifics will be laid out when week 1 starts)

-12 to 16 weeks then playoffs (depending on activity)

-random matches week one after that it's based on record/if the two have battled recently

-contender matches start week 4, first champ match is week five so be active early

-weekly cypher/roast for achievement/priority for contender matches. Possibly other weekly things that are TBD

I'm willing to help with this but we need to iron out strict voting and no show penalties. Then heavily enforce them. Such as 5 voting links (either within the league or outside of it, if you've already voted on everything within the league, then you go to the BA/a different tourney/1-2 Punch League/AOWL/or OM for feed). Failure to produce 5 links leads to a week suspension and 2 losses. 1 for the NS and 1 for the week you were suspended.

For NS's they should suffer 2 losses and be signed out. 1 for NS'ing and 1 for failing to meet their obligation by signing up to participate in the league.

NBL should be prestigious. Ppl should be honored to be in it. Enforcing these rules will weed out the cancer that is ruining this site's leagues and tourneys.

I think we're on the same page. When I took over last season it was kind of a mess and I was way too busy with school work. but I've got some free time this seasonand I'm already laying out a way to be strict with votes in the admin forum.I want this to move fluidly with new battles every Sunday
