I'm going to finally make a vidya game
 

Had a concept brewing for over a decade now

Getting laid off in December, gonna grab max unemployment and sit on my severance package for a month or two and get this ish in the works

It is hard to describe in short, but pretty much GTA meets Skyrim/FallOut gameplay. FPS with RPG elements.

Any cool ideas anyone would expect/like to see out of that type of game?

Perhaps there can be a fox in it?

GOW was going to make it with me awhile ago but I got busy with life

it's been my idea since I was 11 lol

wanted to mesh GTA 3 and Morrowind originally

not sure if he said it was his idea or not but I know he's working on something completely different now. some survival type ish. when I talked to him originally his ideas he was throwing around kind of went against the vision I was going for.

Sounds cliche n a game like that needs quite a big budget but I will support you in this endeavor and buy it even if its mine craft graphics meets gta gameplay

nah I talk to him like once a month

he's working pretty hard on a survival fps joint. looks dope. gfx are off the wall.

Who are you paying to make it/ how are you securing funding?

it's just elder scrolls esque in the way of gameplay, not the world itself

take GTA world, make it FPS, add real non-linear story (not one big main mission, a set of thousands of quest like skyrim)

instead of guilds/factions/armies, gangs/police

etc

I can do it all by myself tbh but I'll more than likely have GOW help me with heavier coding things

I've made about 30 versions of this but never finished/saved it to an external drive

Everything is done in terms of how the game plays, just need to do the coding and modeling. I'm pretty dope in Blender. Got my first college degree in this stuff.
