I wish that I could be like the cool kids

'Cause all the cool kids, they seem to fit in.

At the movies. Alexander and the no good terrible horrible not good awful horrendously bad day. I wanted to see Maze Runner, but apparently that's too much for a 3 and 8 year old and I was restricted from allowing them to see it. Didn't wanna see that gay Mexican Halloween style movie and Boxtrolls seems too drab.

Gonna leave these two here and go see Equalizer. Already saw Gone Girl.

Had my offspring take a picture of me in a cardboard cut out of the Dumber and Dumber To movie where Jim and Jeff are driving their Puppy truck and I'm riding on the stick shift.

Glad the 3 year old allows me to carry in a diaper bag. Twizzlers, Coke and peanut M&Ms.

This Cool Kids song is horrible. Btw.

Yeah. When the movie was over I found them wandering the building. I told them to stay put. Must want to be kidnapped.

The theater wasn't the one who wouldn't let me into Maze Runner with them. That was their mother.

Wise Wiggles 10-18-2014 02:30 PM

It's a shame they didn't.. Then you could see whatever you want, whenever you want

Such is life

Insightful.

Movies > kids

This thread scares me. Damn...

Last time I went to the theaters the Baddour Center came to. It's like the local place where people with mental disabilities live, which was cool. But one of them got off the bus with a helmet and I was like why is this dude stereotyping so fucking hard right now?

Anyway, I went to see Left Behind and they came in the same theater and it sucked so bad the dude with the helmet said out loud, "Oh, bullshit," when everyone disappeared in the movie. That made me feel like I didn't waste twenty bucks for the tickets.

Mike Wrecka 10-18-2014 04:55 PM

U want to bring ur three year old kid to see an R rated movie?

I'm sure watching a Hunger Games knock off for an hour and a half is worth the countless hours you will spend comforting your child as he has night terrors for the next ten years
