Looks to me like the bullet is still travelling very fast, I'd say it could kill someone pretty easily. Could be wrong tho. I'm pretty sure it's not the greatest for the gun but I do know the AK is probably the best built gun in existence as far as wear and tear, jamming in the mud, an reliability in general

yea i seen on mythbusters they fired a 50 cal into the water and it left a target unharmed like 3 feet away. but that was shooting into the water, not with the gun already under, so when it hit the surface the bullet kinda shattered into a bunch of pieces which went in all directions
