"Fishing For A Body"

All week he had waited. Casting his line into the black of the night
and reeling impatiently. The captor just smiled. This happens sometimes,
no matter what’s tried. You learn to put it down to worming up.
True angler’s find they’re built of sterner stuff, like merlin hooks.
The surface shuddered. The piscador barely flinched while staring in
the swirling sunderance of the lair’s abyss. He dared to fish
where an inexperienced water treader may have thought it better
to spare the risk; cutting short their efforts all together.
The stormy weather meant he had an edge as the barometric
fall in pressure that affected made it easy to catch a fresh fish.
He scanned the depths with his cold and steely gaze. A piercing grey
of unanswered questions for the sea of change beneath the waves
that reeled away. The night drew curtain-closed with light submerged in
deeper shades. The twilight’s turgid tides were turning
against the shining surface of a stygian sea. The fisherman feeds
the minute murmurs being billowed beneath the brink as he sees
ripples receding. The bait on his jig favourably rigged
for this particular region. The prey he instinctively waited to clinch
came to within inches of taking the bait. A fatal mistake,
made on a whim, could end up changing its fate. It’s a dangerous game
the prey is engaged in. In too deep to swim beneath
and make it to safety. The spinner seemed to twist and tease
with intervening vibrations and varying flash. Unaware of the trap
the fish had eaten it, snaring the maggot carefully attached
by its warier captor. Experienced hands have years in their grasp.
Their understanding’s superior to that of the green-gilled aghast
reeled in and snagged by the experts pretence. There were several attempts
to get a feel for the action before the freshwater veteran even set up his net.
Every eventuality accounted for. The trickster’s accomplished and brimming with confidence.
Letting his methods exhibit his dominance. Never fishing for compliments.

And this must be the artist also known as Boom. This was an excellent piece of writing here. You're allegory are always on point even though its becoming somewhat of a trope for you but good writing are good writing. I'm still waiting for a deconstruction man.
