buying gifts for your family members birthdays?

Or for holidays in general. Like, I've been sending things to my parents for mother's/father's day, I send stuff to my siblings for their birthdays. But none of my family lives close anymore, so I'm literally just mailing gifts to them directly from Amazon. Just feels like at some point we can just stop getting each other gifts.

I turned 33 this year, and that feels like a healthy place to stop giving gifts. Do y'all still gift things to family on birthdays/ holidays?

25 y/o. I try to treat family/close friends to dinner/drinks around their birthday but that's about it

I only buy gifts for my child & close friends...Oh & my dog obv, he'll get a sausage to deep throat on occasionally...

honestly tho I rarely will send gifts or exchange gifts when we celebrate an occasion in person unless I stumbled across something I think is worth giving them

I painted a picture for my mother this year for her birthday ....went to FL to carve pumpkins with my sister for hers
