DNC Debates
|
It was pretty uninteresting, the highlights you’d probably enjoy:
- Mic malfunction when they switched out moderators so they had to put the whole thing on hold and go back to commercial because the control room apparently doesn’t know how to mute - moderator asks “do you have a plan for Mitch McConnell”? And warren responds “I do.” Followed by a pause and mindless uproarious applause - moderator asks “in one word what’s the biggest threat to America” and pretty much nobody knows what “one word” means except for the dude who gave the super predictable obligatory “trump” answer met with uproarious applause - there’s a couple parts where people just started speaking Spanish for no reason. I think maybe one of the questions was dual-phrased to be answered in Spanish, but booker and I think Beto just kinda launched into it awkwardly at a couple points Plenty of roundabout politician answers. Booker and Warren still the front runners for this batch. Beto looked kinda bland and out of place. Castro was on point, but none of the others said or did anything to set themselves apart imo and should probably drop out ASAP Gabbard is probably the best choice if the goal is to appeal to moderates but liberals will never support her because of her anti-gay past, and I definitely think they deliberately kept her time short Bernie and Biden should be the main focus tomorrow |
trumps gonna slaughter these fools
you know its a bad batch of political figures if my favorite is a woman from hawaii |
Didn’t watch
Doesn’t matter at all to me what their policy plans are I will vote for whoever isn’t Trump |

It’s just Trump and Weld. Weld is polling in the teens and is not strong. |
BORING!
Seriously though, very entertaining. DiBlasio bragging about his black sons Arnild and Willis was funny. The Spanish was hilarious. Tim Ryan is the only one that understands middle American white males are the people going to the polls and voting. Although we are the enemy and still have our original sexual organs you still might want to consider us going forward. Noone has a shot to dethrone Trump. Elizabeth Warren walked away a winner and that was about it. But the idea of her being the shining spot in this freak show should concern all you weirdos. |

I think Gabbard did well if you didn’t have high expectations for her. I like her and Yang so was hoping she’d be more aggressive about grabbing mic time like Castro did. Booker and Castro were strong. DiBlasio too. Warren didn’t need to do much. The Spanish stuff was cringey for Beto. Completely pandering. When Castro spoke Spanish he did so in a question that affects Mexican Americans which made perfect sense. Beto overall did awful and looked like a tool. I don’t think the DNC nominee was at last nights debate |

Curious how the blue case goes now Edit: wow just noticed it was for both cases at the same time. Saw NC and thought they just were addressing one at a time. |
5-4 decision made under the guise of “not being political”
Shit’s just jokes at this point |
