I can't even lie, RB was my first board so I'm always gonna have some love for it, but a lot of their practices sap the actual FUN out of this shit and that's long been their problem

we don't need an admin actively deleting freeposts or drama or closing threads or banning people

infact the hands off approach almost always seems to work well

same thing with being a stickler for voting links in the OM, closing up threads and leaving 20/30 open mics on page one closed because they're a totalitarian faggot

it leaves nothing open for ppl to reply to and create responses, it's actually anti-productive but over the years RB have seemed to give those kinda mods responsibility which just doesn't work

the mods here are all chill as fuck, maybe lazy sometimes, but that not caring too much approach works infinitely better than over modding anything and killing all the fun

RB's moderator/admin approach different traditional when text was thriving and people were engaged. Now they are trying to be traditional in a world where tradition's long gone.

I've always liked both sites equally as both have their own agenda and personality. This one's more laid back and comical where the other one's more firm and organized (Well WAS organized... Now it's all over the place because KnowP and Joe Boston and alcoholic Kill SPree run it.) Broke is actually trying to set some order.
