Witty's thread got me listening to a couple of these Em tracks I hadn't heard. His flow is so weird, which I think is more laziness than anything, but anyhow, I come across this track Fine Line where he's shouting out The Outsidaz and basically just reminiscing about being younger. This song Dear Shady was in the related tracks or whatever. Comes across as Zee using Em saying their name again as a promoting opportunity. Fucking weird how this song and video play out. All awkward. Zee basically begging Em for money lol

Yo, I'm sure Nimi Hendrix is actually Nimrod from the RM GRB's you know... saw his name come up in the credits for this at the start.

This shit actually dope to me. I dig zee style. Miss this kind of hiphop. Its a old school steez but sound fresh as fuck nowadays cause no one rap like this anymore but a small few. Always like when rappers talk to each other through tracks. I.E. let nas down/made nas proud type shit

When celebrity and the music climate was how it was in the 90's then I found musicians to be speaking to each other over tracks to be an inviting and humble type of act. Now with email, texts making it easy to communicate and anything a celebrity does being under an endless microscope then it comes across as disingenuous, especially when that person is clearly begging for attention. This song wasn't for Em. This song was seizing opportunity to gain a few fans through the extra searches they'll garnish through being name dropped. I'm not saying they give a fuck or should. I'm just saying that obvious marketing is obvious.

Basically. But tbr. That all comes by accident even if your main intent was not karketing. Even if ye just decided to make a track and title it what he titled it... once posted it still becomes what hou say it was by default @dull boy
