Rules

Due Dates:
• Verses are due Saturday by 11:59 PM PST.
• Voting ends MONDAY ideally
• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are 24 hours, anything longer is a DQ and/or Double DQ
• To avoid issues, you are encouraged to PM me your verse in advance

Line Limit:
• Min. = 10 lines
• Max. = 20 lines
• The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both.

Voting:
• I do not have time to count links, and I know nobody wants to post them because it’s tedious. Do your part and vote or I’m making house calls.

General Rules:
• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
means you will disqualified.
• A check in isn't mandatory, but it is encouraged.
• If your opponent doesn't check in,
you still have to post a verse.
• Competitors should agree on a line limit in their check in.
• If no line limit is agreed on, then the 2nd person to post
must match the 1st person's line amount, and can’t post more lines

v - Coop. In this battle, I had it pretty evenly. 2-2. I think Wand had the best bar with tier/tear breakdowns. Coke vs. crack bar got a chuckle out of me, and the coffin one was also very nice though. The bar Wand had about Coupon mags was almost quotable but needed better wording imo. Same with the "proof" bar from Coop. This was close, but on the strength of both bars, Coop won it for me, as that bird box line is long and filled with ridiculousness, so I almost didn't quote it. Wording on that could've given the edge

this would've been great if the ending changed slightly 'diluting the talent pool' or something would've been better I think, the phrase you used doesn't really make sense?

Wanderer I think had better ideas and the better highlights so I think he edges it, just. Close battle though good from both

I think this mightve landed a littleee harder if you wrote this out as "Tier". Overall a solid bar, though I've seen tier/tear and breakdown/breakdown concepts done before (just not together). I like the wording. I definitely feel like you've gotten more aggressive with it. Solid bar

grammatically this doesnt make sense on both interpretations, and I did do a diluting wp in the past vs. seth so it weakens the hit for me. meh closer



highlights:
birds box, glint in ur eye vs. coffin, screetching halt

this was a close battle in my eyes, I had to reread a couple times to really determine a winner. I felt like the biggest miss in this battle was wand's antique bar, I just wasn't feeling it. Everything else from both coop and wand was at least decent, I think you both did a good job of being consistent overall, but someone has to win and someone has to lose

Coop won.

Much more natural verse. Wanderer had some cool concepts (bird’s box, etc), but a lot of it felt kinda forced... and the lines were too long. Coop’s wasn’t mind blowing, but it was direct and smooth. A much more enjoyable read. He wins. Cheers.

if I had to vote i'd go for Coop tho.. appeal of coffin is LOTB

Coop had the coffin line that was funny. The rest was either old or missed. Zone line was okay. Wanderer has the bird box line and coupon line. Glint in your eye is okay too but very straightforward/obvious. Wanderer missed less. Steal our breath away was a bad miss. Vote Wanderer.
