To answer what you ended the last chat with; do you mean 10 weeks and done or in another 10 weeks? I'm assuming the former. Although I thought this was going 12 weeks because the week6 mag said 'halfway' point. 10 is fine with me.

Don’t think we have much to gain by dragging this on to 12 weeks? As small as our roster is almost everyone will be in the playoffs who wants to be, it’s not like anyone is fighting for a better position. I say end it after next week and start playoffs

@Adverse was I right about the redundancy line in your verse last week or nah?

Yeah definitely made that parallel purposely. Drew from my real life situation last week, and a lot of my verses have definitely dealt with stagnancy over the course of this league. Glad you dug and made that deeper connection man

Oh and since I'm done, if anyone was wondering my plan for the chapters was to make each one more graphic than the next in order to prove society actually enjoys this stuff or at least tolerates it - "society" being you guys, the voters, who vote for me - and have it as a kind of reverse therapy that would be aimed at the audience to make us really think of WHY we are intrigued by this. The family is a metaphor for the breaking down of our morals. We are an "incestuous" small group hence the incest angle.. etc.

I was planning to end it with the two brothers fighting each other and one winning out (the primal side) and linking it back to the first week where my topic was one guy dragging the other after a bloody battle. So it would've ended where it all began ... thus starting the vicious cycle all over again... because that's human nature.

So basically if you guys felt like you were getting desensitized or bored to the sick things I was writing about every week... that was the point. At least, that's what I was going for.

Sounds like you put a lot more thought than I do into these battles. Probably why you got the championship lol.

I can’t wait for this week. Nothing worse than posting something you’re not proud of, or a piece you KNOW you could’ve worded a lot better and polished as a whole. This week took a lot to get anything out for me where the last couple battles I wasn’t struggling as much to execute. and it was frustrating bc the picture this week offered so many angles to write from. Just wasn’t feeling it. Hopefully I’ll find inspiration for the next one

Bodey is one of the best and I know he can do it.
