i seen people scoring it 116-112 GGG and thought that was nutty. but a draw? really?

i basically give myself the excuse of not being a huge boxing fan, and think well maybe i dont know what to look for exactly. maybe when he's backtracking and countering 1 of every 10 punches that is more favorable lol.

he was firing back heavy when he did though, and he put together more ferocious shit towards the end, but GGG never stopped his game

so from where i sit it was just the volume GGG put on him throughout the duration. i thought he'd be the clear winner

but what do i know. i've watched two boxing matches all year

I still think GGG won, but it was closer on the rewatch. Had it 9-3 GGG first time but there were several swing rounds; Canelo wasn't as busy, but he was landing the cleaner, harder shots. I don't think it's outrageous to have it even or close to even, but any split for Canelo reeks of being rigged. Six rounds is a stretch, but Canelo getting 10 rounds is absolutely indefensible.
