Hard question to answer, because it depends on what type of stuff you're into.

A random suggestion would be the Prophecy. It came out in '95, but I smoked a blunt last night and found myself rewatching it all over again. It's not a master piece by any means and some of the editing is kind of disjointed, but if you like supernatural shit (God, angels, the Devil) then you'll most likely dig it.

Nick James 01-15-2018 11:56 PM

I remember the prophecy lol.. I forget the main actors name but yea hes a g.

@uh oh.. im caught up on snowfall, animal kingdom, power (fuckin dope), shit I evn watched nails lol. Im on season 2 of narcos now

Movies? Sure you ain't up for some series tho?

Check out: Jessica Jones (don't knock this one, legit best show I've seen in a minute. Definitely underrated af, it's on some next level Dexter shit.), Mr. Robot, The Punisher. I can give more if you want some.

Essential movies imo:
Birdman: The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance (2014) (got on my instant personal top 10 list after just watching it once and I've seen it twice since then. A fucking sarcastic stab at Hollywood with too many quotables and points to mention, funny af in a depressive dark way even poking fun at the main role played by Michael Keaton that basically plays himself as a washed up actor trying to make it in theater and hit it big again like he did with Birdman 20 years ago (Batman/Birdman, see the connection and the 20 year gap from 2014 to 1992? It's not random). It's filled with subtle jokes like this and I'm forcing @Diablo by telepathic forces to see it if he hasn't already. It's a trip so get ready for something different in both cinematography and tongue-in-cheek dialogue.)
The Hitmans Bodyguard (when you just want to watch a proper action movie with some humor involved, the complete opposite of Birdman)
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 (2014) & 2 (2017)
The Drop (2014) (slow paced crime drama with a serious backstory and plot in the same vein as Mystic River)
Winters Bone (2010 but might have slipped you by) (naturally paced crime drama about some girl trying to find her drug addicted father out in Redneck county because he's the only that can help her mother and sister not losing their house.)
Logan (2017) (fuck what you know about Wolverine from before, this redefines him and the badassery is on point)

Honorary mentions: The Hobbit (download the fan edit one to filter out the filler), X-Men Apocalypse, Baby Driver (good shit to watch high, idk what you're limited to do and if you gotta do piss tests or not etc. but I found Baby Driver to be smooth af to watch high), Hacksaw Ridge (dope af war movie), Batman The killing Joke (animated, not sure if you're into that sort of shit but it's pretty good imo)

Is what I come up with atm. Probably more but it stops here for the time being. Hope it helps.

Diablo 01-16-2018 04:05 AM

I haven't seen it, I mainly fuck with horror/world cinema and very little else tbh but generally disturbing movies are what i enjoy.

Limitless is a dope movie if you guys haven't seen it. Train to Busan is good. The Pianist is a good one. Boy In The Striped Pyjamas. 8mm. The Skin I Live In.

I can give you a dope list if you're into those kind of things
