I remember watching a random wrestling doc a few months back and the general consensus amongst most well known wrestlers of the time was that Jake Roberts was the best wrestler in the business as far as his mic work and selling fights. He didn't have that steroid freak wrestler look, but it was his wit and a intellect that made him a favorite among his peers. I never wouldve guessed that. As a kid during that era I thought it didn't get any better than the ultimate warrior.
