Thank you to everyone below who assisted in giving me feedback and stuff. My opponent was fire and roasted the hell out of me. They called it battle of the night, which is a huge honor considering there were several URL/KOTD battlers on the card. Definitely my overall favorite battle

Pushing/shirt grabbing/etc is a sign of appreciation in battles. I reacted heavy because I genuinely liked the material and don’t really care enough to try to portray myself as unimpressed, which is what a lot of battle rappers go out of their way to do. There aren’t a lot of battlers that I’ve battled who I like as writers, though. If he was a large dude rapping the same shit, I would’ve reacted the same but it probably wouldn’t have been as obvious because that’s how basic laws of physics and inertia work.
