• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are 24 hours, anything longer is a DQ and/or Double DQ

Line Limit:
• Min. = 14 lines
• Max. = 20 lines
• The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both.

• I do not have time to count links, and I know nobody wants to post them because it’s tedious. Do your part and vote or I’m making house calls.

General Rules:
• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.

• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.

• A check in isn't mandatory, but it is encouraged.

he was just more consistent all around, went a little overkill on the nameplays felt some of em' were forced. but he still edged it with more punches that connected imo.

Damn. I got 3 to 4 here. Allen with the edge. Ad had some dope concepts. Intro was fire plus his last two but Allen had his first three and closer.

This was a pretty close and decent battle.

But, maaaan. More of these weird word combination punches (adolescent... forklift.. etc). I guess that’s what this site has decided it likes, and that is what it is, but I don’t see the appeal at all.. unless there’s a clear double meaning that works both ways. Typing words that happen to sound like several other words combined together, by itself, isn’t witty. It comes off so forced.

That said, the second verse (Chamber or Allen Knight or whomever) was the better verse of the two. Leaving aside the issue above, he had some cool concepts and it read/flowed much better than the first verse. Maybe the only thing worse than those odd word combos are back to back bars that are really long. There’s just no way to read that in any kind of natural way. And the first verse’s ideas/concepts weren’t quite as good as the second, anyway. So, Chamber wins, in a close one.

I think Adverse's opener was nice but he was disappointing after that. Allen Knight had more interesting ideas and concepts, some of them were worded a bit off for me AdBlock maybe LOTB.
