when i was researching safeties pre-draft my favorite was elam, who we got. ***awww but word after the top tier, (vaccaro, elam, cyprien, reid) the second tier, shamarko, rambo etc, i liked rambo the best. needs to bulk up a little to take down big nfl backs in the open probably. but i like the kid he's nice with it

Yeah Elam looks real good.. I'm really surprised we didn't draft S w/ our first pick but Amerson fell to us at CB.. but yooo.. Phillip Thomas is gonna be a monster for us... Him & Amerson led the NCAA in picks consecutive years.. we got some ball hawks... plus I think we're moving D-Hall over to safety.

Plus Meriweather will be back full strength.

We should have a top 10 defense.. I think Amerson & Thomas can contribute immediately.. possibly Rambo too.
