I've been trying to watch some "disturbing" anime recently after a friend suggested some.

Anyone wanna watch along with me/recommend any more?

You just now getting into Devil Man tho? It's actually pretty dope, but Innovator does have a point... most of the "extreme" anime tends to just end up with tentacle rape.

If you haven't peeped Ninja Scroll yet, do so. Peep the movie and the series. Devil Man and Ninja Scroll are both good because they actually have a balance to the rape, murder and storyline.

i havent seen ninja scroll, BUT i do own the poerfect collection of Urotsukidoji at home so i am clued up on Overfiend bizarrely enough haha

i own Midori and La Blue as well but not watched them yet to be real

i just heard they were anime nasties so i picked them up to watch at some point

Imma look into my collection and see if I can offer up some fresh selections for you. Some of them have some weird ass names, so I can't recall at the moment.

I know there's one that's rather popular where these kids die crazy brutal deaths throughout.

Also of note: there's a ton of these anime that got live action versions made. Attack on Titan comes to mind. Some of the live action ones translate pretty raw.

Ninja Scroll is a classic.

Only anime shit I've ever watched, and it was OK.

I'm on episode 225 of the One Piece series and I love it so far for the most part. It's free to watch on CrunchyRoll.com but there's a lot of advertisements which is the only downside. I mute my speakers when they come on.

Rewatched gundam wing and cowboy bebop. Both still top 5 after all this time.

Samurai jack on netflix and after going through that it might be top 10 all time as well.

People at work talked me into watching bleach and it is admittedly one of the best samurai type animes to date.

Dbz super has been pretty good but i hate waiting week to week might wait till it finishes.

Feel like there was more ill come back when i think of it.

berserk, fma: brotherhood and hunter x hunter are top 3 series ever. with samurai champloo, trigun, flcl, cowboy bebop, mushishi, hellsing ultimate and mayyybe afro samurai all getting honorable mentions. shoutouts to samurai jack which is not anime.

films are a whole other thing but i watched akira for like the fourth/fifth time the other day and it might be the best one ever. srs. only princess mononoke contests it.

ninja scroll, fist of the north star and ghost in the shell for old school shit you can't fuck with -- redline, sword of the stranger and the boy and the beast for newer classics.

if you want some weird shit watch wicked city. it's decent, gets a bit rapey. anyway, i'm not a fetishist for the disturbing stuff.

besides that, my only other anime I like is Dragon Ball. I wanted to start watching One Piece but it's soooo many episodes in already :(
