• Verses are due Saturday by 11:59 PM PST.
• Voting ends MONDAY ideally
• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are 24 hours, anything longer is a DQ and/or Double DQ
• To avoid issues, you are encouraged to PM me your verse in advance

Line Limit:
• Min. = 10 lines
• Max. = 20 lines
• The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both.

Voting:
• I do not have time to count links, and I know nobody wants to post them because it’s tedious. Do your part and vote or I’m making house calls.

General Rules:
• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
means you will disqualified.
• A check in isn't mandatory, but it is encouraged.
• If your opponent doesn't check in,
you still have to post a verse.
• Competitors should agree on a line limit in their check in.
• If no line limit is agreed on, then the 2nd person to post

Wasn't feeling evad verse.... That adversecity line wD OK. Adverse didn't have anything really hard hitting but I liked his closer.

v - Adverse. Wasn't feeling much of either verse, but Adverse had LOTB with Dave and Busters, while also being more consistent in his attempts to diss the opponent. I think the wording and played concepts from both created a closer battle than it should have been. Generic gun bars/"I am very aggressive" don't get much pop from me, unless very creative, so I didn't feel anything in Dave's verse. Also, Dave is a pussy for swaying/bitching after one vote

This was fairly entertaining. Neither verse was mind blowing, but they each had their fair share of jabs. I think Dave used too many puns and some really obscure references (and, if it’s obscure to me, best believe it’s really obscure).. But, he also had some clever stuff... and the line of the battle to me (Body Weight). Adverse dropped essentially half of Dave’s Verse and didn’t have anything that jumped out at me as being particularly witty or original (although it wasn’t bad).

I think Dave took this fairly handily.

didnt fully get this tbh, unless he has an alias named "Weight/wait" or something similar, which is something you should specify from the jump. The only other alternative is you're saying "I'ma body, wait.." which you should indicate with some kind of punctuation. Either way as a writer, you're responsible for communicating your ideas better to the read. If his name was weight, this would be a good bar, but I can't make that assumption so it's a miss for me

cool idea, executions kinda sloppy. Grammatically this has holes in it on the arcade side of the interpretation



overall, I felt like I've seen better from Adverse, so I was a bit disappointed in this drop. Also the fact that he only did 10 lines vs dave's 16 put him at a disadvantage from the jump. That being said, I think Dave got this. He had some good ideas but I think he tries to do way too much with them when it comes to executing.

So I’ve got

Coop and Iggy pop as standouts, then furniture auction and delecroix.. then maybe lil dicky... I thought with ad’s recent run of form he might take this but Dave has edged him here. I preferred the overall creativity and a few bars with more sting than his opponents

Adverse's verse was MUCH easier to read, but no sting to anything. Had I not done D&B last week, that would probably be LOTB. I don't think you should've went 10. Going less backfired here, you just needed maybe 1 fire bar to take this.
