Rapsody

So y'all afraid to admit she kept it 100 with Laila's Wisdom.

Definitely a very strong entry in her great discography so far.

9th is on point by putting her on.

Inno 10-20-2017 11:48 PM

She wack yo

The Dead Poet 10-20-2017 11:52 PM

The album is pretty fucking good. Couple snoozers but overall it's good. I hate female rappers normally too.

Inno 10-21-2017 12:27 AM

She’s inherently wack yo

Certain 10-21-2017 12:45 AM

The whole "I don't like women rappers" thing is so played out. If you can't listen to Rah Digga or Jean Grae and admit they're dope, if you don't think Lady of Rage showed and proved on "Lyrical Gangbang," if you don't see how many times Lauryn Hill outshined Wyclef and Pras, I don't know what to tell you. You're just a sexist. At least admit it.

Inno 10-22-2017 02:20 PM

She’s miss understood wack yo

There will never be a dope femcee, nah

Now there are exceptions and some songs and features are dope.
But for the most part woman rappers are wack yo. Completely wack.

Jean grea is good but have u heard her last album? Waccckness 101.

Rah diggah? I aside from a view dope verses what has she done? Nathan hotdog b

Lauryn Hill, ok. I’ll give you that one.

Foxy brown is up there.

Mc lyte? Ok

So that’s what 3-4 really dope females?

Let me rephrase it it.

MOST female rappers if not the MAJORITY are horrible.

I can’t wait for that new nicki yo

Dope girl 10-22-2017 02:46 PM

REMY MA MAKES BETTER MUSIC

Certain 10-22-2017 05:01 PM

Queen Latifah and Roxanne Shante are fundamentally important to rap history, even if you don't like them.

Bahamadia was dope in the Rawkus era.

Noname is making some of the best music out right now.

Eve always held her own on Ruff Ryders stuff. Yo-Yo on Da Lench Mob stuff, too.

Missy Elliott of course is a legend, and if you want to say she's a pop legend, OK, then so are people like Nelly and Drake. But she could flow for days.

Da Brat was good. Don't really have much else to say.

Lil Kim, Foxy Brown and Nicki Minaj every once in a while remind you that if they weren't so preoccupied with sexualizing themselves for money, they could also absolutely spit.

Trina was the hardest rapper to give head on stage,

I'll still swear by Diamond from Crime Mob. Even her solo stuff. But I might be alone on that.

uh-oh 10-22-2017 06:31 PM

yea female rappers suck THO

there is that

~RustyGunZ~ 10-22-2017 06:38 PM

Your completely right about all of those. Great points tbh. And just for your satisfaction I love diamond from crime modi thinks she’s fucking dope.

But with all tgat said you could compare all those female mcs to mediocre male mcs and the male mc would win based off straight technical talent. Aside from a hand full of female artist, basically The ones you mentioned. Ain’t to many female rappers wowing these days

No name is fucking rip off of chance the rapper come on now son.

I peeped her album, yeah it’s cool but it ain’t nothing chance ain’t doing, and much better btw.

Also I peeped that gherbo album, also wack.

Destroyer 10-22-2017 07:08 PM

See I'm fine with you saying it because you also mostly admit to hating women.

oats 10-22-2017 08:05 PM

"hardest rapper to give head on stage" is an enviable title.

honestly though, when I was middle school/high school I thought the same thing about female MCs, but you grow out of it. at some point you either like rap or you don't.

word

its a tired concept of discussion at this point but it falls in the respecting the skill and competence, but it doing nothing for me

there are plenty of technically proficient, skilled male rappers i think are "wack". it just so happens that every female rapper is in that group as well.

with the exception of young m.a

but that said i havent dug into her enough to ruin my impression of her thusfar

WRATH 10-22-2017 09:02 PM

I heard like 5 fire young ma tracks she legit

Mr. J 10-23-2017 01:07 PM

I honestly don't see how one can hate in female MC's

Nicki & Kim irritate the fuck out of me but I respect that they made into the game even if they rode a lot of dick to get where they are.

Rapsody is talented though. Best project I've heard this year so far aside from Gibbs album
